Amazing design, especially your offer different sizes of pot. All your posters looks good, system also runs well and you considered about recycle! good jobs!
回复删除Just one thing i am not sure about is, the way you hang your pots on the wall looks not strong.
I think your idea is excellent. Do to the fact, the current environment of working place is terrible which means your design fits the market. And the shape is very simple and unique, it seems really fits the background. However, is this design suit for all workplace? According to your poster, it looks like the product require a large empty wall.
回复删除Nice service system and posters. I would definitely get my own pot of these plants. The system is well thought out, its beneficial for the company as it creates healthy social interaction among workers, improves the mental well being of its workers, it provides food and decoration and its good for the environment as well. For improvements, the pots can be personalised so that it can be given as gifts for colleagues. The arrangement of different sizes of pots different types of plants can be improved for better organisation. The design of the hanging system can be designed in different sizes as well. Overall, very nice work!
回复删除I like the idea behind the garden modules and planters in the office, and agree that they would be good in diverting depression by cleaning the air and encouraging them to do physical exercise, as well as boosting the mood by adding a splash of colour during work times.
回复删除However, a recommendation I would make is to make changes to the design you've presented to make it more unique or add features that give it a clearer differentiation from designs such as the Urbio System (http://inhabitat.com/transform-bare-walls-to-bright-indoor-gardens-with-the-versatile-urbio-system/).
For example, a problem you could address would be the water drainage issue if not in a large wall unit - I like that you've included holes in your modules and that, when stacked as whole, the run-off water drips down into the next bottom one, and the one after that. In this way, the water is recycled and constant care and watering from the consumer is not as essential. This also prevents over-watering and drowning, which is a problem that is not always addressed in other wall mount garden systems.
What if the small modules weren't part of a larger wall garden unit with larger plants at the bottom to catch the remaining water, or the pots were placed in such a way as to be not within the distance needed to? What if the office worker wanted only one or two pots hanging down their hallway or on the other side of their room, as shown in one of your poster diagrams? The main question from this would be: How then would the water run-off work, with holes in the container and no supporting dish below it?
For this, maybe you could have a second bottom layer that neatly clips over and 'catches the water run-off, which can then be detached with the water being re-used (poured back into the plant or the neighboring pot).
The only other issue would be the need for sunlight, which mean that the wall-mounted system would require a fairly large area that is within range of sufficient sunshine.
A interesting development of a design for an environment that is not usually considered, and well laid-out posters.
